I do think the Aviron Fit Bike is the best exercise bike on the market, and I will get to that. But first, here is a little bit about the bike.
It is a connected fitness exercise bike, meaning it has a screen in front of you enhancing the experience and tying the work you put into what you see on the screen. This generally has meant instructor led content (think Peloton) in the past. Not the case with Aviron. This means so many different ways to enjoy working out, and we will get to that. But think variety, fun, motivation, and excitement to actually exercise because of what they put on that screen.

As mentioned above, you can adjust this bike via 10 methods to get it dialed in just right for you. Additionally, pay attention at checkout as you have options such as pedal and seat type to build the perfect bike for you. In my testing, at 6'3", I felt very comfortable. I enjoyed the position I was in and enjoyed the exercise from start to end. Bike seats always take a little while to get used to, but once you get there it is great. I really enjoyed the style and fit of the handlebars. They allow you to move your hands and get in different positions and find what is best for you, but also switch it up as you feel a need to move or change positions. The monitor is positioned well allowing you to easily interact with it and see everything with comfort as you ride. Very happy with the comfort and fit for a big guy. Side note, my 10 year old was able to test ride this and enjoy the fitment. So, if you are in the shorter side, I think this could work equally well.
It drives me nuts when these bikes offer only basic pedals. The Aviron Fit Bike comes with cage pedals which may be more than enough for you. I would like to take a second to suggest the SPD\Cage upgrade. If you are going to use this bike on the regular, it is really nice to be truly connected to the bike. You can push down with one foot while pulling up with the other. This engages more muscles, helps you be more fluid and maintain a higher cadence, and burn more calories. Cages are great, but if you getting this bike to use frequently, cycling shoes are better.
As expected from a bike at this price point, the build quality makes you feel good about your investment. Overall assembly is great, materials are strong, and the bike is connected to the floor well under you. When you make an adjustment, it does not feel lose or poorly connected. Everything tightens well and feels like it is one piece, even though you can adjust it in many ways. The 22 inch HD screen seems very well constructed, swivels well, and holds its place easily where you leave it. Seat, pedals, handlebars, you name it, every feels like a high-end part. No concerns with build quality at all!

The instructions said to place the cross-bar with the wheels in the rear. This makes for an awkard move when you want to roll the bike around. The monitor sticks way up and has a fair amount of weight up there. This makes it less than ideal to roll the bike around. Luckily, Aviron told me the bar with wheels can just as easily be placed in the front. This means the monitor will go down making it much easier to move around. In short, this is a tip... put the cross-bar with wheels at the front!
I don't care how great everything else is on an exercise bike, if the resistance is poor, throw it out. The main areas I generally focus on when it comes to resistance is control, range, and top end resistance.
Control - Cheaper or poorly designed models feel choppy. The pedals don't want to carry you through when your feet are at the 6 and 12 positions. This can make the overall experience rough but absolutely kill out of saddle pedaling. You want this to feel fluid and controlled, not jerky. And it was perfect.
Range - You never want to feel limited or unable to dial in the experience you require overall or in that specific moment. This means you need to be able to make the resistance very easy, to difficult, with plenty of steps in-between. Aviron fit bike does a great job here. It is also controlled from the screen instead of a deal which is a nice bonus!
Top End Resistance - Not everyone goes here, but some love that grind where the resistance is so tough you can barely pedal. Not all bikes can produce this. Aviron can.
Additional Considerations - I love the resistance and experience this bike offers. One thing to be aware of if this uses a chain mechanism over belt which has pros and cons depending on what you want. Belt bikes are very very smooth, which can be nice. Chain offers more texture coming through the pedals making it feel more realistic, which I personally really enjoy. The downside is that it produces some noise. If you are going to need the bike to be silent when you use it, this might not be the option for you. Otherwise, a great bike.
Gone are the days of basic bikes that you jump on and pedal. These have so much technology and that can be intimidating! No worries here, as it is extremely easy to use. The Aviron fit bike user interface puts most options right on the front screen. Swipe with your finger to see categories and select what looks interesting. From there, they will guide you through everything! Picking the exercise type, what options you can pick from, and getting started. I can't see anyone being unable to figure this out. It is built that well.

Here is where Aviron on all platforms completely shines. Most connnected fitness options have one claim to fame. Instructor led content, scenic content, music inspired content, and they stick to that. They may have other modes, but the mainly stick to one category.
Aviron does not.
And this is so important. These bikes are expensive. They are a big purchase and a commitment to your health. The last thing you want is to get burnt out, tired of the same format day after day. Aviron offers so many completely diffferent ways to use, experience, and enjoy this bike that you don't get burnt out. It is more of a "What Am I Going To Do Today!" type of feeling and this is a wonderful feeling.
But what types of content do they have? Well....
I am really glad they have this. It would be easy to say "we do so much else, we don't need that", but they didn't. People love instructor led content because you feel a connection with the instructor. There is a level of accountability and additional motivation and sometimes.... we need that. Aviron does a good job with this content and has a nice library.
So, if you are torn between a Peloton and Aviron because you know you will enjoy instructors pushing you and teaching you... you have that here as well.
This is my favorite part of the Aviron Fit Bike. So many games to choose from. These games have levels and high scores you can climb through your effort. When loading a game you can select duration and challenge level to set it up to match your current abilities. You interact with games through effort such as resistance and cadence. As an example, my favorite game is called Breezy Flight. You drive a flying car and have ring of different point values in the sky. You need to work to drive through these rings. This means pedaling harder at times, slowing down but not missing the ring, and working hard to hit multiple rings in a row for bonuses. It is fun. More importantly, it is motivational and gets you working out longer and harder. Exactly what you want.
This one is huge for me. Exercise formats like the categories just covered are awesome. They motivate you, get more out of you, and keep you coming back. But. Sometimes you want to go a different route. Maybe instead of an intense 20 to 30 minutes, you want to a more chill 60 minutes. Having the ability to put your favorite show on and workout longer is a great way to change things up and match what you are feeling that day.

Feel like a challenge? Want to push yourself... maybe against yourself? This category has all sorts of modes to see what you got and push your limits. Racing, personal best challenges (beat yourself), challenge others.
We are all motivated in different ways, and sometimes you need to see if you beat that mark you or someone else has set. You will have no shortage of ways to do that here.

There are a lot of great bikes out there. The first question I would ask yourself is if you want basic or connected fitness like we have here. If you are not going to take advantage of the extra functionality of a bike like this, save your money and get a more basic one. If the features I have talked about pull you in, get you excited, and make you want to use the bike... it may be one of the best decisions you have ever made. Assuming you use of course. I have tested a lot of exercise bikes. This one is my favorite. So many options. Quality of the bike itself. Streaming services integration. Overall quality of the games and user interface.
This is a wonderful exercise bike, If you are on the fence and cannot decide, I can tell you this... If I had to purchase one exercise bike that I thought was the best on the market, it would be the Aviron Fit Bike.
