Peloton Digital remained unchanged at $12.99 a month.
My Thoughts
I understand why a subscription fee exists and I am completely fine with that, but we are talking about a single option for your home gym. One device that costs 45 dollars a month to remain active which is starting to get steep. I love the Peloton, think it is a great product, and it can help so many people... but I thought 40 a month was a stretch for what you get. Maybe I see it different from other people but this just seems like a lot to keep a home gym product active.
Do I Still Recommend the Peloton?
I don't like to put a price on ones health. If there is any category I am willing to spend more on, it is my well-being as I want to live every day to the fullest. When comparing home gym options, if the Peloton is hands down the best option for you and the one that will keep you exercising and improving your health... it is worth it.
If it does not scream to you as the option you must have and other options look equally interesting, I would take a strong look at them.
Options to Avoid the Peloton Price Increase
At 5 dollars a month, this is a 60 dollar a year increase. This means skipping one month could almost wash away the cost increase and two would have you saying money. Peloton allows you to pause a membership for 1, 2, or 3 months at a time. I recommend pausing months you are a light user and save that monthly fee. This can easily help you overcome the increase. I show how to do that in the video attached.
