Have you ever got extremely motivated to reach your health goals and to get there did something extreme? Usually, this is an extremely restrictive diet but it could be many things. I am going to guess, it did not work out.
Personally, I believe this is because extreme diets do not work. Reaching health goals should be less about a temporary change and more about permanent changes that are easy to maintain. This is not done through one big change but lots of small changes. Meal structure, portion size, eating windows, hydration, exercise, sleep volume and quality, and so on.

I have used the Lumen off and on for a long time. When I am using it, I am generally being rather healthy and making good decisions. Then I got to thinking, what if they are just telling you that? I didn't want to eat poorly just to test...

I decided to test Lumen during this. Result? A lot of 4 and 5's meaning I was burning carbohydrates and keeping fat on my body I didn't want. Lumen passed the accuracy test.
I personally feel a lot of us truly want to be healthier and the biggest roadblock, is really knowing how to be healthy end to end in our daily activities. Lumen is fantastic at teaching you exactly this while giving you quality feedback through the measurements it does. For these reasons, I think Lumen could be a great option for a lot of people. But, there are other options.
I have tested multiple products that do a lot of the same things as lumen, but their measurements are different. Instead of using your breath and providing you are score, they use a CGM (Continuous Glucuse Monitor). This means a lot more data, both in frequency and in my opinion, even more accuracy. Personally, I very much like these options. They provide more insights into what is really happening in your body and trend it against your choices (food, exercise, and more). The data nerd in me loves this.
CGM options are more expensive, and Lumen is the more budget friendly option. So, I suggest you ask yourself if the data is the selling point. Both options are great, but serve different needs. Depending on how you plan to use this, Lumen may very well be more than enough.
We have all road the highs and lows of trying to reach health goals. We can start off extremely motivated, but then lose it and fall off hard. How do we keep that motivation rolling and avoid that feeling of failure when we believe health goals are unreachable?
